Revitalising The Cathedral Hotel Salisbury
Larasian has received planning approval for The Cathedral Hotel, a luxury five-star boutique development in Salisbury's historic Milford Street. The Grade II listed building will be transformed into an exclusive hotel, featuring a luxurious restaurant and a distinctive Spitfire rooftop bar.
Named after the secret wartime Spitfire production in Salisbury, the glazed rooftop bar will offer panoramic views of the city, including Salisbury Cathedral. The project will create new jobs and an exciting destination for visitors and residents to enjoy.
Key project elements include:
- Sympathetically renovating the Grade II listed building, preserving the mid-18th century staircase as a ground floor centrepiece
- The Spitfire rooftop bar will offer 360° views of Salisbury's five spires and honour local wartime aircraft production
- 13 exclusive suites with al fresco dining and five-star amenities, with plans to open in 2027
